    Danny Williger

     Team Captain

Danny joined the team in 2015, lured by the prospect of free cycling apparel and the need for peanut butter balls. He has participated in all of the qualifying charity rides and devotes much of his time to charitable causes and developing crisp cycling tan lines. He enjoys longer rides as well and has participated in many multiday rides in several states. He hopes one day to ride from coast to coast.

David Brown

First Team Captain

Team Founder and First Team Captain

Dave started the team in 2013, riding the Tour de Cure with a team of seven. He approached store owners Jodi Devonshire and Tony Caruso and asked them to sponsor the team, creating a synergy between the Café’s dedication to health and well-being, and a team dedicated to community service. Dave worked tirelessly for the team and for good causes, believing that it is the duty of all citizens to provide for others and for the community. He embodied the qualities of integrity, hard work, dedication and service, and was a great friend, father, husband and brother. Dave built the team from the ground up and led others in raising an extraordinary amount of money for many good causes. In 2019 Dave was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, and after a long and difficult fight, passed away in October of that year. We honor his dedication to good causes, and are honored to carry on his legacy.

" I have a good job and a great family and I feel that giving back is important. I thought that this might help Jodi and Tony’s business and I could give back doing something I love. Basically, everybody wins."
- David Brown
